I have a vera 1 that i just recently started toying with after a long period of not being able to access it because i edited the old firmware until it was no longer workable. I was succesful getting it flashed to version 1.1.1062 but I can't upgrade to 1.1.1245 because the version of my zwave chip is 1.78 L:1. How do i get the zwave chip to update itself so I can use the latest firmware? Is this not possible?
I also have it setup as a switch on my network and configured it to turn the onboard wireless off but it doesn't seem to be able to connect to the MyMios website. Does it have to have certain ports forwarded to it from the internet? I had it setup in the dmz so it should have gotten all internet traffic but it was still unable to get any connection to MyMios which makes me think it's because it's not the latest mymios version as all ports should have been forwarded to the device.
Is there an interum firmware that i can use to update my vera 1 to get the zwave chip updated? will a newer firmware, beta maybe, correctly handle my old zwave chip?
Thanks for any help
