To have your lock send you notifications, you must first have set your notification preferences (email address, etc.) in your Vera system.
If you have the Vera3 Smart Controller, click here to learn how to set your Notifications preferences.
To set notifications for your lock, click on the wrench icon for the device by hovering your mouse at the top right of the bule bar:
When you've clicked the wrench to access the lock's controls, choose the "Notifications" menu as shown. You will see a drop-down menu that lets you choose what kind of action you want to be notified about, and a field to give that notification a name:
Give the notifcation a name, then use the drop-down menu to select what "event" triggers the notification, as shown:
When the event occurs, you will be sent an email or text notification, depending on the notification preferences that you've set.
